Are you ready for West-East road Expedition by self drive ?

Expedition should always be a pleasant time and should keep in mind that family also enjoy the trip.

After doing road-side trip of Ladakh and Kashmir with family,other friends and family members were inspired and joined us on our Sikkim excursion

Myself Dr.Vinesh Shah planned the road-side Sikkim trip along with Hitixa Shah,Drashti Joshi,Nital patel, Mitesh Joshi,Khyati patel, Ami Joshi,and little champs Dishant Shah,Rushil Shah Dhriti patel,Ayaan Joshi,Vedanshi Joshi and we made it by self drive in 58 hours

While making road-side trip for a long route following points must be considered:

• Vehicle must be in good condition.(preferrably SUV car) With fitness certificate
• Always start the journey early in the morning.(Around 4-5A.M.)
• Avoid late-night driving
• Searching good and safe hotel for rest is an another big task.
• Keep proper outfits as temperature may varies from 40°C to even 0°C.
• Keep adequate stock of water,snacks and medicines.
• Don't follow google maps blindly.Try to keep your vehicle on National \state Highways only.
• Keep Strong rope to pull a vehicle, Puncture repairing kit and Oxygen cylinder

West-East Expedition (Surat,Gujarat to Gangtok,Sikkim) route passes through six states namely Gujarat, Rajasthan/ Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, Bihar, West Bengal and Sikkim having smooth roads ranging from two-lane highway to six-lane express highway making your drive more comfortable.

on the way, You will explore varied landscapes , different geographic area , people and languages, pattern of living and local food on passing through each state. You may face difficulties in finding pure veg\ jain food so prepare your eatable accordingly. This route traverses through NH48, NE4, Gorakhpur-Purvanchal Expressway, NH27 and NH727.

It crosses major cities from Surat to Gangtok in this order

Surat-> Vadodra-> Godhra-> jhansi-> Lucknow-> Azamgarh< Gorakhpur-> Gopalgunj-> Darbhanga-> Bagdogara-> Siliguri-> Sevoke

Things to do in Sikkim: 7 to 8 days are enough to explore beauty of sikkim

Gangtok: M G market for shopping, tashi view point are main attraction

Lachung : to drive outside Sikkim car, one has to obtain a permit for car and persons travelling which can be obtained online. Driver who owns the vehicle with a driver's licence and rc book of car can only drive the car to lachung and lachen. Seven sisters fall, amitabh bachhan fall and zero point are the main attraction

Pelling: sky wall, lake, orange garden, bird sanctuary are main attraction

Kalimpong and darjeling

Labha and lava are new attractions
